And it sounds counter to startup world, where we have limited amount of time and we need to optimize every single day. And I started to see how we need to create something takes time to build something to fully immerse in the journey takes time.

And so far everyone tells us like with twins, it's going to be a lack of sleep. But it's going to be totally worth it. And before you know it, there'll be and they'll be two years old. And they're going to get a little older and then start pre K. And then they start kindergarten. And that time would just fly by. And instead of time, which is going to go forward. And what's important would probably be focusing on staying present to each day as best as I can.

Whereas like a startup, you just want to go faster, you want to build more. And sometimes that can be very demanding and setting and wanted to see the result tomorrow. But life doesn't have to be like that. You know, we can just like this moment in time before our twins come, we strive to go slow, be deliberate, be thoughtful, identify all the great things, the great moments and cherishing them because it's not really the destination. But it is how we move about this. And that makes life more meaningful.

Why I'm writing to you

Curiosity, and the journey we will take together.

I want to start with something a little self-aware, maybe even self-centered: I have spent a lot of my life focused on myself and my ambitions. I found a lot of joy in creation — in my professional and business career, in creating concepts that other people can use. I studied sales, marketing, product management, mechanisms of growth. I was always delighted to learn more, and that became almost my passion: the exploration of ideas, the discovery, the curiosity.

Now, as you both are coming into my life, I've been asking myself how I incorporate that passion together with you. I want to pass on that sense of entrepreneurship, of discovery, of curiosity and learning. I want to share with you why it shaped who I am — and I would love for that to resonate with you both, if it does.

Right now, what matters is making sure I find harmony: exploring you, learning about you, going on this journey together, while still incorporating my own personal passion. I want you to see that journey — the ups and the downs, the combination of success and failure, whatever those end up meaning — and I want you to see how I handle those experiences: with calm, with patience, with curiosity. I want to model that for you both. That's important.

So as we move forward, I hope this is something you can follow along with — whoever wants to follow along, whenever you're ready — and I look forward to that journey together.
