Going slow

A long runway, and very little time each day.

Dear boys,

You know, I reflected on how we have a long runway, but so little time per day to focus on. And it sounds counter to startup world, where we have limited amount of time and we need to optimize every single day. And I started to see how we need to create something takes time to build something to fully immerse in the journey takes time.

And so far everyone tells us like with twins, it's going to be a lack of sleep. But it's going to be totally worth it. And before you know it, there'll be and they'll be two years old. And they're going to get a little older and then start pre K. And then they start kindergarten. And that time would just fly by. And instead of time, which is going to go forward. And what's important would probably be focusing on staying present to each day as best as I can.

Whereas like a startup, you just want to go faster, you want to build more. And sometimes that can be very demanding and setting and wanted to see the result tomorrow. But life doesn't have to be like that. You know, we can just like this moment in time before our twins come, we strive to go slow, be deliberate, be thoughtful, identify all the great things, the great moments and cherishing them because it's not really the destination. But it is how we move about this. And that makes life more meaningful.
